Last night for dinner we went to a local restaurant in Palmy, a Turkish place called Halikarnas. If anyone is every in Palmy, for some godforsaken reason, eat there. It's very very good. I'm in Palmy. They have rain and cooler temperatures despite being further north - we decided it was because Chch was generating extra heat through friction.

The dogs have mostly calmed down but still stare soulfully at us through the door and whimper like we're hurting them DEEPLY for not letting them in to investigate the new people.

I fail completely at being a girl! It's stinking hot so I was having a longish coldish (a bit below lukewarm really) shower and figured if I'm going to start wearing dresses I should make like the tv ads think women do every morning without fail and shave.
